Katherine Earley

My name is Katherine Earley and I am a senior marketing major in the Boler School of Business. I am currently a marketing intern at NCS Credit, which deals with B2B credit laws. On a typical day there, I am doing anything from designing sell sheets and ads to analyzing marketing data and reporting on market research. Last summer, until January of 2016, I worked at Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems. Bendix has a heavy hand in automated commercial vehicles and I cannot say enough about how valuable my time was with them. I went through two rotations, the first dealing with customer relationship management, event planning, and general sales support, and the second rotation dealing with database analysis and reporting, product marketing, and demo team support. My time at NCS and Bendix has given me a taste of two very different industries, cultures, office sizes, and they have helped me obtain a wide range of skills to bring to the table. I am currently in the process of looking for a job that will allow me to work with and market great products while being analytical and creative at the same time.

            Other than my work experience, I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA and I do hope to eventually have the opportunity to move back one day. For now, I am very content in Cleveland. I love finding new restaurants and coffee shops in the area and going to concerts whenever I can. I adopted a puppy last summer and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. He is the perfect hiking and swimming buddy and is an amazing man of the house to my roommates and me. I am hoping to learn a lot from my potential mentor and I am looking forward to meeting!
